English Language Trainer

Our Client provides 24-hour Emergency Travel Assistance Services to anyone who has purchased a travel insurance policy from their Company. They act as the emergency help-line during customers’ travels for such issues as lost passport replacement, airline/hotel reservation changes, referral to a qualified attorney or physician, emergency medical evacuation – among others. Their services are available worldwide and 24-hours a day from their assistance center located in Malaysia – one of 5 such centers our client has around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively deliver training to up skill English language competency of Service Representatives
- Monitor trainees’ progress, provide coaching and conduct skill assessments
- Prepare training reports for management review
- Develop , maintain and update learning material (including training manuals and assessment instruments)
- Participate in initiatives to upgrade & improve the quality of training systems, content & delivery
- Provide constructive feedback on areas for improvement for the Customer Service Representatives
- Conduct in-house English training for Customer Service Representatives
- Participate in trainee recruitment activities when required.
Position Requirement:
- Degree or Diploma Linguistics/ Languages/ Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent
- Excellent training skills and well versed in principles and practice of learning and skills development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong facilitation skills
- Ability to work with a large group/team
- Good working knowledge in using basic Microsoft Software applications
Salary: RM5000 - RM6000
