- Experience in designing Chemical or Petro Chemical Projects
- Assessing processes for their relevance and assessing the adequacy of engineering equipment ( mechanical & piping)
- Reviewing existing data to see if more research and information need o be collated
- Designing, installing and commissioning new mechanical production unit facilities, mobitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processess.
- Applying principles of mass, momentum and heat transfer to process ad equipment design including conceptual, scheme and detail design.
- preparing reports, flow diagrams and charts
- assessing the availability of raw material and the safety and environmental impact of the plant
- managing the cost and time constraints of projects
- selecting, managing and working with sub-contractors
- Supporting the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large scale operations
- assuming responsibility for risk assessment, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community.
- Cost estimation for Mechanical portion and arrangement of project cost (including preparing cost comparison table)
- Scheduling for Project
- Making documents and drawing such as process flow, diagram (PFD), Piping & Instrument Drawing (P & ID), Plot Plan Drawing.
- Making data sheet & specification document for mechanical equipment and facilities.
