Full-time Technical Support Specialist

at Exabytes in Penang

Responsibilities:

The Technical Support Specialist provides first line telephone support for web hosting.
The Technical Support Specialist currently supports users from Malaysia.
The Technical Support Specialist is responsible to guide the customer by using the necessary tools and software to assist the customer to resolve the issue.
To reply to clients via Helpdesk

Requirements:

Sound problem solving skills with linear and logical troubleshooting skills.
The ability to troubleshoot all problems in a clear and logical manner.
Able to use the Internet as a tool for research.
Basic Knowledge of PC Hardware.
Writing skills including the ability to understand technical terminology.
Ability to work autonomously.
Familiar with Linux OS will be an advantage.
Familiar with web hosting, domain, cPanel, HELM, DotNetPanel will be an advantage
Ability to communicate resolutions of technical problems quickly and clearly.
Ability to use the desktop computer system.
Strong customer service focus with the ability to empathize as well as prioritizes customers need.
Typing speed of 30-40 words per minute.
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or equivalent.
Required language(s): English.
Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Baru, Penang.
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
